Mission StatementThe Foundation for the Mt. Kisco Public Library, Inc. was established in 2005 to support the Mount Kisco Public Library, the library's special projects, and the growing needs of the community. Formed by local residents - members of the Library's Board of Trustees, the Village Board, and Friends of the Library - the Foundation's role is to raise funds for special programs, services, and to help pay for the Library's new furnishings and equipment. The Foundation's goal is to raise $1 million dollars over the next two years to furnish the interior of the library and provide funds for special programs. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
